The Process of Design on Avatar

Project Description

I had the pleasure of interviewing Yuri Bartoli (Supervising Virtual Art Designer on Avatar) and TyRuben Ellingson (Vehicle Designer on Avatar) about their work on the Avatar film. I remember this interview being a bit disjointed because they showed up at the office on a surprise visit, so I was completely unprepared to interview them. But I think the result is a fantastic amount of knowledge from two of the top designers in their field.
