Dr. Alan Grant & Velociraptor 1:6 Scale Figures
The Brief
Develop the most detailed articulated velociraptor collectible from Jurassic Park film in 1:6 scale. And lets make a Dr. Alan Grant figure while we are at it so she doesn’t get lonely.
My role in the project was to coordinate and direct the efforts the development team as well as the manufacturing efforts. I also coordinated the marketing copy and photographed the solicitation images for this project.

You bred raptors?
This is a 1:6 scale posable figure of Dr. Alan Grant. It features a fully-articulated body, the figure includes a fine assortment of accessories, including a pair of gloved hands holding a baby raptor, a hand holding a flare, and two swappable portraits in the likeness of actor Sam Neill. Adorned with a custom-tailored reconstruction of Grant’s costume from the original film using real fabric clothing.
She's a beaut!
Standing at 25 inches in overall length and 12” in height, she features 12 points of articulation and comes complete with three sets of hands – one with relaxed hands, one neutral position and the others outstretched for an attack.
Accessories
For a fun little accessory we had her come with the Raptor handler’s stun baton and hard hat. This was supposed to be from the guy she dragged into her pin and devoured at the beginning of the film.
