A little bit about me: I lead the consumer product Design Development department for BDA Dallas, a ragtag team of designers, developers, and storytellers who are passionate about delivering bold fan experiences through physical products. I hold a masters degree in Design Management from Savannah College of Art and Design, which reflects my expertise and commitment to innovative thinking, user-centered design solutions, and whitespace business development.
My mission is to create space, tools, and opportunities for others to make meaningful innovative experiences that connect brands with their fans. I have built and led the multimedia department at Sideshow Collectibles, a company that produces and celebrates pop-culture through high-end licensed product experiences. I founded my own company designing and developing tabletop games and raising funds through crowdsourcing for manufacturing. I was part of a core team of storytellers who created presentations and videos for organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, U.S. Air Missile Defense, and DARPA. Recently a product my team created was nominated for Grown-Up Toy of the Year by the TOTY Awards (we’ll get you next time LEGO!)
I love theme parks, movies, cartoons, music, games, comics, books, and product stuff. I love to see my team and people grow and achieve their dreams. I am a passionate learner and mentor in the field of design thinking, consumer product development, and storytelling.
